1. What is the definition of legal research? The term legal analysis varies on the basis of legal analysis as its context keeps on changing. The legal analysis normally refers to the analysis of any case law (Putman, chp: 12), the analysis of statutory (Putman, chp: 3), within the boundary of others as well as for scrutiny, interpretation, evaluation, and counterargument in response (Putman, chp:13). Moreover, legal analysis can be simply defined as the process of identifying issues as analyzed by the facts of any client and then determining the specific laws that can be applied as a result. If in any case, any specific law cannot be applied then legal research is accompanied by legal analysis to find the appropriate law (Putman).
